There is lots of information "out there" regarding Exotic Pets. Various organizations, of which I am a member, and their websites do provide the most accurate information. For many years, I have been an active member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Southwestern Herpetologists Society, and I encourage visiting its website.
I am a lifelong contributor to the World Wildlife Fund and therefore actively support their endeavours at protecting the other living species we share our planet with. I feel they are currently the most proactive and successful organization in helping to insure the wildlife we have today will be present in the future for our next generations to appreciate and enjoy.
A member in good standing with Petsitters Associates, LLC; a professional umbrella organization that has established a set of standards to follow in order to maintain a high degree of professionalism in the petsitting industry. I feel that my business meets and exceeds these standards.
Other sites worth visiting are Avicultural Society of America (of which I am a member!) and the American Federation of Aviculture.
